I see this wall when we fly near Colorado Springs twoards the west. It seems to be the place where the waters were held back when the mountains were formed. And the cities are on either side of this wall now.
It is beautiful and leads to an interesting topic. We're the mountains formed when the floods from Noahs Ark receded?
