I realise this subject sets the good Angel / bad Angel debates going.
But I wondered if anyone believes they might have had an encounter with an
angel. Here are a couple of examples I know of.
I remember years ago I was on a bus and in a fowl mood, I was
having a pity party although I cannot remember now what it
was about.
Anyway a young blond haired blue eyed boy got on maybe
5 or 6. He marched up the bus and sat on the seat next to me.
The odd thing was I do not know who he got on with, and there was
lots of spare seats so I have no idea why he sat next to me.
It wasn't even a window seat and most kids like to sit by a window.
I remember looking around trying to work out who he was with but I could
not see anyone who looked as if they had a child missing or was looking at us.
That was odd too, that no parent or guardian was looking around to see where he
was.
The bus set off and you know what, all the way through the journey he kept
pointing out of the window and chatting about what he saw and asking me what
I thought. He got excited at the buildings and plants and cars, in fact he got excited
about everything.
I couldn't help smiling it was hard to stay in a mood with this little chap sat there
chatting away. The thought did cross my mind that he had been sent by God and
I remember getting that funny shivering hair on back of neck feeling. I can't explain
it but he had a strange look on his face, it was a child's face but his eyes were not
child like at all - he had an old expression.
Then the bus reached a stop, he said good bye to me thanked me for
our little talk and promptly got off!
I still don't know who he got off with and as the bus began to pull away from
the stop I stood up to see where he had gone, but I could not see him at all despite
there being clear pavement in both directions, I could not see him or any adult who he
might have been with. Honest I had a clear view all way around that bus and
I stared at the area for quite a few seconds as the bus pulled away, got stuck behind a
car, paused then drove off.
I know it sounds stupid but I really think he was an Angel.
Surely the bus driver would not have let him on the bus on his own, he did not seem to
be with anyone and he just was no where to be seen when he got off.
Why did he sit next to me when there was so many empty window seats.
Why did he chat to me as if I was an old friend.
I really do not have the answers to any of these questions but I had this deep
conviction, sensation call it what you like that I had seen Angel. Part of me
did worry that he might have been a child on his own and was
he okay. But no matter how often I have thought about this, I just cannot
understand where he went to after getting off the bus. There is just no way
he could have ran off somewhere without being noticed.
There is no way the driver would have let him on the bus on his own. I did
ask the driver if he saw who the boy was with, but the driver could not
recall seeing him at all.

An elderly friend of mine has an astonishing story. She was a carer for her father who
had cancer, it was really bad and was creeping up his leg, which also became
gangrenous.
She would go to her parents house, help her mother care for him then go home at the
end of each day. Sometimes she would stay the night and sleep on the floor.
Anyway he died one evening, and she did not feel she could stay in the house
that night. She was exhausted from all the sleepless night, grieving and barely
aware of her walk to her own house. It was very late and dark and part of the
route was by a wooded area. She says that she just recalls starting to walk
by this area when she heard an unknown man's voice say "I will walk you safely
home".
She was so tired that she did not even look up and only saw the man's shoes and lower
feet as they walked together.
They walked past this wooded area and up to her garden gate, at that point she looked
up to thank him but he had simply vanished! One second she was looking down at his feet
the next he had gone. She is certain he must have been an angel.
-------
Years ago I remember hearing a story in church about a woman who had been in a car crash.
She was trapped in the car and panicking. A person who she assumed was a paramedic
appeared by the car window and talked to her, reassuring her to keep calm and that everything
would be ok. After a while she could hear the sound of sirens approaching and this person
told her help was on its way.
Then another person came up to the window another paramedic to check on her and asked
how she was doing.
She replied the first paramedic had helped her, the second man said who?
She said the other paramedic the one who was stood here when you arrived. The
second man said there wasn't anyone else by the car when he arrived, he was the
first on scene.
