THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON CHRISTIANS WHO SAY THEY ''HATE" RELIGION.
But it seems to me that most Christians who say they "hate" religion are very worldly.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying that all Christians who say this -that religion is "bad" or they hate it- are worldy/liberal, but there does seem to be a trend.
Does anyone else in the world who see this? Is there not a connection between religion and conservativism/non-worldiness? I would say that religion (which can be good) works to make Christians more aware of what a Christian should be and what they should practice, when done properly. Spirituality doesn't work,to me, because it makes the image of what a Christian should be very vague.
I have always had a more traditional view of religion and see it as a good thing.
The truth is concerning the vast majority, whether they say they hate religion or not,is they are worldly, which the Bible points that out concerning the condition of the people who claim to be with Christ at the end times, that they are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God,and of the last generation, that they are clean in their own eyes but not washed from their filthiness.
So not only do we observe the many hypocrites, but God also told us there would be many hypocrites at this time.
How many people actually act like Christ in it's entirety. They do not talk right sometimes when dealing with other people. They do not walk right,as you can observe worldly things that they say and do and hold unto.Believe me,if the people who claim to be with Christ actually acted like Christ, you could tell and they would stick out.
But somebody has to act like Christ, because there will be a resurrection of the saints, and somebody has to be caught up.
People know that there are many hypocrites and different interpretations of the Bible, very numerous, and know it should not be so.
So when they say I follow Christ but I hate religion, you would think that they would have it right concerning how to be a Christian above the people who like religion, seeing they are implying I am in the right for I denounce religion where you people are confused and in the wrong because of your religion, but when you observe their lifestyle that claim I hate religion, they don't act like Christ.
But maybe that is the deception of saying I hate religion, for while they think I hate religion, there are things in religion that is of goodness that they do not observe, and gives them kind of a relaxed attitude instead of the strictness of being a Christian.
It is like people who say you are being legalistic, like they do not want to hear any rules as if they all come from man,but perhaps some of those things might actually come from God.So they have a way of cutting everything out,and go overboard, when some things God might require, but they don't want to hear it.
Like a homosexual man who acts feminine, but he takes that feminine way to an extreme, where not even women act that feminine, these people take legalism, and I hate religion,to an extreme, where some things may be of God and not of man, that they think is legalistic or religion.
They tend to not want to hear anything but I confess Christ, tell me no more,as if all else is coming from man,but some things might be coming from God.
But it is strange because they say,I like religion,I hate religion,I am not legalistic,we like rules,no works, yes works, etc.,but they all act the same despite their different viewpoints.
They take a different stance of Christianity, and what they should adhere to,as if they have a heads up in truth, but they act the same in lifestyle, when it is really your lifestyle that matters, which is to be like Christ.
It seems people do not focus on being like Christ, which Christ did not play, opposed to the people who claim to be with Christ, which Ghandi even testified of this,I like your Christ, but I do not like your Christians, for they are so much not like Christ, and Ghandi said this many years ago when they were not as bad in hypocrisy.
It seems people do not focus on being like Christ,or is that religious and legalistic.
Being like Christ is the only thing that counts towards salvation.
