Which is better for swimming, Gulf coast or Atlantic?

I would say that the Atlantic is much more scenic and the water is a little cooler and there are always cool breezes blowing. The air on the gulf is more stifling and oppressive. Both coasts are definitely worth going to though. Make sure you put on plenty of sunscreen.

Okay; well if your grandma doesn't smoke, let's hope she's okay with yours. But anyway a lot of Canadians think a Florida address is a very privileged thing.

Hi everyone first time poster....I love the subject of vacations as I'm planning one next year...but what do you do when you don't have anyone to go with? I use to go with family but since my parents passed away last year I don't want to do that anymore. My friends never have money to go so I'm at a stand-still....any suggestions? I want to go to Israel and while a tour will be helpful in not feeling alone I keep thinking that I'll end up eating alone as everyone but me would be with family.

Yes I am lonely, but not for a hookup but rather for companionship....as I write this it kind of saddens me
