Go for it; make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes, though.

Have a great trip! (Ottawa, Canada's capital, is impressive, too, if ever you get the chance to see it.)

There is so much of it. Montana is Big Sky Country.

There is a sudden contrast between the prairie part and the Rockies.

Glacier National Park is especially impressive.

The bridge over the Vltava, the Cathedral and Hradcany castle would be favorite destinations, I guess... :)
The bridge you are referring to is Charles Bridge, which is now a pedestrian only bridge, saw those plus also the Astronomical Clock and Old Town Square...

Off to Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy on 1st July, which I am really looking forward to...

I've been to a bit of northern Italy: scenically impressive.

Never been to the Czech lands, though.

Thanks.

Have a great trip; sounds like your grandma retired down there.

We Canadians tend to value trips down South a lot, what with our cold weather, anyway.

I advise you to wait until winter as it is quite hot here now. If you value your life do not go swimming in any of the lakes to cool off unless you have an affinity for alligators. The springs are much safer and more refreshing. Daytona beach is awesome.

Which is better for swimming, Gulf coast or Atlantic?
