Of course not. It's me saying, are you living and sharing with a small congregation, all your wealth and learning/teaching/evangelising? Or are you being trained to go on training weeks, seminaries, and buy bigger buildings every decade because you gain 20 people every decade and the church is too small.
If you died, would your church collapse. Or do you have 5 pastor's teaching a house church each, see my point. We're too resistant to buy a big house with the "elders" and live creating new pastor's from the house, then splitting up and creating new house churches, costing nothing.

It seems that you have had a bad experience with local churches. You are not alone, but do not judge all by what you see in your country.
I serve as pastor of a small rural church with 30 members and an average of 35 in attendance. The average age of the members is over 65.
This church was established in 1947 and the man who started the church served as pastor for 49 years.
We still use the same building built in 1947.
I am the second man to serve as pastor and I serve without any pay.
During that time many souls have been saved and several young men went out and served churches as pastors and teachers.
I believe only those who are called of God should serve as pastors and teachers. It is not for me or a church to choose.
Over the last 25 years the attendance dropped from 70 to 35 as young people moved to the cities to find work.
The opportunity to evangelize and train young men as pastors is very limited in our area so we have chosen a different approach.
We help support 5 different men who do mission work around the world. We give over 60% of are offerings for this purpose.
Last year that was over $40,000.
I fully support the home church. I support meeting in a rented space. But sometimes it becomes necessary and to build a a a
a SIMPLE building for the purpose to assemble and teach.
There are good churches in this world, but there are also many religious organization that call themselves churches that ought to be burned down.
