First, this article is pure advertising, dressed up as medical knowledge! I'm not saying it is all wrong, but the solution is not just buying their products. I take all these minerals, I buy them from locally made Canadian companies.
Second, getting enough minerals, especially trace minerals is vital! So many people eat diets deficient in these minerals, even if they are eating healthy, because the foods are grown on deficient soils. I was getting serious osteopenia, rapidly 12 years ago, I started taking all the minerals and vitamins, Omega Oils, and I reversed some of the damage.
Which brings me to my third point, is that they are mixing up osteoarthritis and osteoporous. You can have very dense, healthy bones like my husband, and still get OA. He has a very strong variety that runs in his family, including our 34 year old son. He has been doing better since I added Glucosamine supplements, less deposition of calcium on damaged spots on his hands. Can you trust a company that doesn't appear to know the difference between osteo-Arthritis and osteoporosis? The first condition lays down extra calcium, the second is loss of calcium and loss of bone density. True, some people get both, but then, everyone gets OA, the only way to dodge it, is not have any injuries, including repetitive wear and tear.
Then there is the claim to "cure" Osteoarthritis! It's not a disease! It is a natural condition that exists in all vertebra, that includes birds, retires, amphibians, and mammals. There is no "cure!" Just eating well, and maybe suppressing it longer?
Use of stronium? Still in the experimental stages. It may be good to for OA, but I will wait till there are more double blind studies and empirical evidence before I add that to my regime.
These kinds if articles are meant to snare the ignorant. While I agree that some people may need supplements, make sure you have the condition before you start dosing with things that you do not need.
