Why does it say in the first epistle of John, in chapter1 verse 9 if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrightousness, but in chapter 3 verse 6 it says whoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him? then verse 8 he that commits sin is of the devil for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the Devil. Then in verse
9 it says whoever is born of God doth not commit sin for his seed remaineth in him and he cannot sin, because he is born of God Why does it seem to contradict here?
