Let's do just that...but, not forget the persecuted Egyptian families who's husbands were beheaded on the beach just two weeks ago in northern Africa by ISIS...and then there's the Canadian ministers who can no longer preach against same sex marriages and gays from the pulpit unless they want to lose their ministerials licenses. Don't forget the ethnic cleansings in Africa..or the tribal killings in India..where do we stop? This has always gone on from the moment Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden. How far back to we pray for the persecuted and how far ahead do we reach out to them in prayer? The answer, my friend...lies in our daily walk with JESUS CHRIST..living each day as if it would be our last...for we know not when we may be persecuted ourselves. Prayer is powerful stuff..indeed...and I totally believe in it...but...instead of praying for the already persecuted ones, why not simply pray that a means and way will open up to those who would be persecuted, for them to be introduced to JESUS CHRIST in the first place? Then..when persecution comes..like Paul said.."FOR ME To die is GAIN! Better yet..if GOD is behind this concern of yours..perhaps you need to be the one in which the persecuted can turn to as you share CHRIST with them...GOD will open doors in ways that you cannot imagine. ASK GOD for HIM to show you a way that will be most effective to ANYONE who is persected....
