Can Gloria Copeland Affect The Weather?

I've come across someone like this before...thought he could change the weather by praying to God.

And I begin to wonder, is he more concerned about the weather or persecuted Christians who are dying all over the world?

O well, I'm not perfect either...

One time I was at the doctors office waiting room and I guy there had an Indian rain maker stick. A man asked him if he thought it was going to rain today. He replied it better not. Right that second it started raining, and before that the sky was perfectly clear.

Why judge someone you probably never met? Have you looked into their ministry enough to list their top 5 focus doctrines?

The most helpful for me has been learning to pray effectively, praying the Word, applying scriptures that deal with whatever the Lord put on me to deal with. There isn't a bit of power in praying something a congregation likes to hear, especially if a prayer is directed to the congregation. There's not much good in a memorized prayer, either. Folks pray the model prayer often as a standby, but few ever know any result from shallow prayers. The reason might be simply they are not regarding those words spiritually. At a Copeland meeting I experienced a 3 hour prayer session with Gloria leading it, teaching us how to pray the Word as we prayed, using that model prayer fully expanded to converse with Father God about issues of the moment.

It's amazing to me how some people find that sort of ministry to be evil. They got me praying like the Word says to do.

Maybe the problem is no prayer at all? Jesus spoke some powerful promises around prayer and speaking to objects with authority. So why not speak to a weather phenomenon? Why do some Christians limit what they can pray about? It isn't biblical to do that.

Victories come . They come from the throne of God.

You are right. We pray his promises. We pray his testimony.

He answers.

Oral Roberts would pray in tongues,and interpret during his prayer time.
No wonder Paul wrote most of the NT. He spoke in tongues more than anyone.

I know,without word of faith,my dog would be dead. That is a fact.

What on earth do cessationists do when they pray? Insult God by acting like he never promised anything?

They must either watch their loved ones die,stay sick,or never see a victory.

The apostles raised from the dead would be dumbfounder at the anemic condition of 90% of churches.

And if the devil is such a threat for working miracles and people uttering tongues,why is this not happening in bars,clubs,casinos,and bathhouses?

They may as well cut the book of acts out of the bible.
There is 20 or 30 miracles in there.

We have had some really bad weather in the north of the country during the past few days with massive flooding. Can we blame it on Gloria i wonder?
