For cards bigger than or equal to 4gb most android devices use the new exFAT format system which is not in windows 7 but you can use the above easeus tool to do that for your sd card..
So I spent some time with EaseUS Partition Master but it just didn't work out for some reason.
The card can hold about 20 files or so, around 250 megs. Anything more and I get file format errors, deleted files, folders that can't be deleted unless the card is reformatted again, and other constant weirdness.
I can't seem to make any sense of it.
Anyway, I went ahead and ordered a smaller 2gb card online.
No big deal but I was hoping for something fun that I could do tonight.
Many thanks for the response back though Ultimatum.

No problem, sorry it didn't work out for you.... Hope everything works out with the new card, if you're looking for good brands Amazon basics sd cards are good as well as Kingston....I have had both and I personally prefer Kingston as it is more reliable but price wise amazon basics sd cards do a good job as well.
