Book, Chapter and verse that the Blood represents Christ name please?
Well, we would have to get in to an in depth study of what a blood covenant is... and you'd get offended, and strife would break out.
If you are interested in knowing... go study what a blood covenant is and then understand that God made an everlasting covenant between Himself and Jesus (His Word) that is all powerful over all that God created and it's everlasting.
It's actually a great study that deals with spiritual absolutes or laws in the spirit realm that supersede anything satan can do here on earth since Jesus supersedes the authority satan got thru Adam's high treason against God in the garden.
Ransom us from the powers of darkness
Bingo!
There is no indication in the scriptures that the Blood of Jesus protects you.
Ok, since this is your position... it does not protect you because of your unbelief.
satan is very happy to hear you do not understand the Blood Covenant upon which God's plan of salvation is built upon.
"If" I wanted to "plead the blood" I would say - all my sins have been washed away by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I would confess this:
Matthew 26:28 (KJV)
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
I would confess that I am declared justified - righteous.
Romans 5:9 (KJV)
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
I would confess I have redemption now - the forgiveness of sins: and it is all according to the riches of His grace.
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
These are all examples of declaring (not pleading as in begging) what God has done for us is true for you... and is very scriptural
Unless one is not very schooled in what God's Word teaches concerning what rights we have IN CHRIST that were purchased by the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.
It's a legal thing in the spirit that satan must bow to... IF a believer knows their rights in Christ.
To say he used ALL OF HIS BLOOD is not implied....and your response was ridiculous......
Well, I'm not a fan of claiming God lied in His Word... but I know that's been going around lately.
Your response is like those that claim gay marriage is OK (more and more that claim to be Christians) because Jesus never mentioned it... He doesn't have to because He defined what marriage is, so anything that is outside of His definition does not qualify for a marriage that is acceptable to God.
Since God said in Hebrews 9:12 that "by His own blood he entered in once into the holy place"... that's what it means.
Yeah, like Jesus left some of His Blood here laying around in the dirt... that's what is ridiculous!
A plea is a legal term.
It is in fact decaring one's position.
Exactly...
Exodus 12 is not about protection but about deliverance. Would you rather be protected or delivered?
When they got delivered, they were protected from the death angel because of the blood on their door posts
But, the authority of the name of Jesus is what we "plead". Boldly.
And, it's the shed Blood of Jesus and His resurrection that gives His Name power.
Jesus Christ is the one and only Melchizedek, the King of Peace and Righteousness.
Yes, and there He is receiving tithes, of Whom it is witnessed He lives!... another topic folk like to argue over
