Pshh.. No YOU don't confuse your language with gods! "But I say unto you, that whoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adaultry with her already in his heart". -mathew 5:28..
Do your husband a BIG FAVOUR and throw away his porn movies.

Adultery is having sex with someone other than one's spouse.

Don't confuse your language.
It is a visual form of adultery, and we've already established emotional adultery too. We are all capable of this, obviously.

Not the one that mocks the words of Jesus Christ.
You can only understand that passage in the context of the old testament law. There was a lot of sarcasm in the sermon on the mount as well. And a lot of cultural context.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Murder

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,[SUP][a][/SUP] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[SUP][b][/SUP][SUP][c][/SUP] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’[SUP][d][/SUP] is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. (??)

[SUP]23 [/SUP]“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, [SUP]24 [/SUP]leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.[SUP]26 [/SUP]Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

Does Jesus say that the American court system is as bad as the Roman court system? Serious study of the history of Law would reveal otherwise.

Full context of the passage you are using as a prooftext:

[SUP]27 [/SUP]“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[SUP][e][/SUP] [SUP]28 [/SUP]But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. [SUP]29 [/SUP]If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. [SUP]30 [/SUP]And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

How many people have followed this to the letter, and gouged out eyes?

Are you seriously suggesting body mutilation?

So sorry you're going through this! This is very hurtful. If he says he doesn't love you anymore but still wants to live with you then it looks like he just wants to keep the convenience. Does he expect you to take care of him like you're his mother? and also be his wife in the bedroom? If this is the case then it seems like he's just using you for his own gratification...and maybe putting a guilt trip on you when he talks about the welfare of your child.

Emotional manipulation is extremely damaging to a marriage. A marriage counselor may be able to help. Even if he refuses to go, he or she may be able to help you.

Focus on the Family also has resources for helping marriages. It's hard not to let resentment take a grip of you but this may make you lash out and then it's harder to deal with the situation. If he doesn't want to be married to you emotionally, then he can't demand you act like his wife when he wants you to. He can't have it both ways. A time of separation my wake him up to the fact that you're not his doormat. The bible speaks specifically about how a husband should treat his wife and wife treat her husband. A good Christian counselor may help.

As you grow in the Lord....reading His Word, fellow-shipping with other Christians... the Holy Spirit will lead you into a wonderful place...seek Him first and everything else will fall into place; not immediately and not easily...but it will :).

No..nimbus..jesus spoke in parables ..you would know that if you read mathew... What he was saying is ..if you see a beautiful woman and is easily tempted to lust after her, then look away !! If ur right eye offend thee pluck it out..if ur right hand offend thee , cut it off..don't look! Or touch another woman..or man..the whole plucking out and cutting off was so you don't be tempted...

The bible scholars I have talked to have stated that Jesus was talking more of "looking at with actual plans to f**k" rather than looking and dreaming. If this is the case, it DEFINITELY does not include porn, which was the original question.
