Most postings say you must choose and scripture doesn't agree, most postings say that because they can't be perfect they should not try and scripture doesn't agree, most posting have a knee jerk reaction to law saying it won't save so get rid of it and scripture doesn't agree.

Yet the posters stand firm on these assumptions.

I would like to have the posters rethink these things, if they did I feel sure our very world would benefit.
If you chose one and not the other you will end up with a false gospel. The perfect law includes the letter of the law as that by which we see scripture it brings death and with it the unseen law of faith the spirit of the word it brings life.

Christ's law of faith perfects the believers as it works in us as we are informed. Converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.( Us) It the letter and the spirit of faith working together performs all of the work that he appoints to us.

Psalm 19:7 The "law of the Lord" is perfect, converting the soul: the "testimony of the Lord" is sure, making wise the simple. The "statutes of the Lord" are right, rejoicing the heart: the "commandment of the Lord" is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Again "it" does all those things (making wise the simple...... rejoicing the heart, enlightening the eyes.

I guess you just can't see anybody else's perspective on things. What does it matter if I see a thing different from you and others of I still believe that we are saved by Grace through faith? Are we not all found as liars and wrong when Messiah is revealed to all mankind at his return?
Anyway thanks for saying something because nobody else has. I think I'm blocked
I see your perspective. I just think it is against what Paul was saying in Galatians 2

If righteousness came by the righteous instructions given by Holy God, then Christ is dead in vain.

That's why I asked if you understood what it means. You are contradicting what it says.

The law is our guide for righteous living. G-d's grace provides a basis for receiving forgiveness when we brake His law.
Unfortunately most I fear have forgotten that there is no longer condemnation for those who are in Messiah

God gave us the grace to keep the law.

If so ....then please explain why we need repentance and continuous forgiveness?

By grace we are able to seek and receive forgiveness. It is a forgiveness from .....not a prevention thing. Although we must strive to eliminate sin from our lives.

Paul also wrote Romans 7:12...
So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.
I also know Messiah came because the righteousness of the Law was contrary to us and actually condemned us because of sin. Though people believe just that. Most do not consider that it was not the righteousness which condemned, rather it is sin that took the opportunity afforded it by the righteous instructions given to condemn to death the sinner.
Now we have been brought close to the promise and covenants so we can be partakers of the inheritance from Elohim to all who would believe him.
So what are we to do to attain righteousness? Only receive it. It is a free gift. The instruction has become our sanctification through doing the Good works written in it for our edification as one body with Messiah as the head.
You are like a man who looked into a mirror, (Law of God) saw his condition and was convicted. How ever as soon as you turned away forgot what you saw and continued to walk in lawlessness.
Not only that but have you forgotten that, there is now no longer any condemnation for those found in Messiah? So if it is true that you're righteousness is a free gift and not your own, (like I believe) then we should live life for Messiah and as he does for our example. Obedience to the Father's instructions even too death on the cross.

Galatians 3:10-14
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. For those who would rather work at the law the curse and the condemnation are still there to bring them back.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

You don't understand obedience if you think it is by righteous instruction. You don't understand Christ if you think you are supposed to do what He did. Christ freed us so we wouldn't be condemned by what He suffered for and delivered us from, the law.

Romans 4:4-5
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

To repent is a work of Christ who works in us to both will and do His good pleasure. If any man has not the Spirit of Christ as a work of hearing His voice then no man could turn to repent. As always he must do the wo first work .He is our first love that we return or are turned to .Taking his yoke it is easy.

Jeremiah 31:18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God Surely after that I was turned, "I repented"; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth
