[SUP]30 [/SUP]Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. [SUP]31 [/SUP]And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. [SUP]32 [/SUP]He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. [SUP]33 [/SUP]And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
When did or does Jesus' eternal reign begin? It clearly doesn't end. Therefore why do some believe Christ's kingdom only lasts 1,000 years? What does Daniel 7 say?
And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.
When do we Christians from every nation, peoples and languages begin to serve Him? Are we serving Him now? If not, why not? So, when did or does the above begin? Clearly it never ends? Is Christ, after 2,000 years, still waiting to be given His everlasting kingdom? If He is not yet King, can we be serving Him?
