I have studied solar eclipses in part of my bible studies and solar eclipses happen yes but where they happen and when they happen are what make them important or just another cool sight. The sun and moon and the stars are to be used for signs and seasons and lots of people easily discount the signs God gives.
Before discounting this sign there are a few things to consider, a total solar eclipse happened when Jesus died for three hours on the ninth hour of the day and when they day became night that is what made the soldier believe. Now the total eclipse is only in America but not only that is in the star constelation of leo the lion which has always been symbolized as the king and of course we all know of the commonly used the sky will become black and the moon to blood scriptures but there is also something else to consider, the fact this happens 33 days before the eclipse in Israel in which the day will become night for three hours is not an accident.
God formed the stars and the sun and all the planetary systems to his precise measures he wrote the story of his plan from adam and eve to the end of revelation in the skies and the stars he knew exactly what he was doing, I am not saying to expect the rapture or the tribulation but I am saying for people who keep asking for proof or for signs that all this is about to go down I would consider the signs right in front of your eyes.
Out of all the supposed signs given by the so called prophets to pay attention to this is one of the very very few I will say with certainty to pay very close attention to
Break out your Bible. You're going to have a lot of Biblical significant events this century to work into your theory.
During the 21st century, there will be 224
solar eclipses of which 77 will be partial, 72 will be annular, 68 will be total and 7 will be hybrids between total and annular eclipses. Of these, two annular and one total eclipse will be non-central,[SUP]

gamma).[SUP]
[2][/SUP] In the 21st century the greatest number of eclipses in one year is four, in 2011, 2029, 2047, 2065, 2076, and 2094. The predictions given here are by

Wiki's List of 21st-century lunar eclipses
Just thought you might need a heads up so you can get everything lined up for the next one.
There have been a similar number every century in the past, and a similar number will occur every year into the future.
I wouldn't be concerned unless there were a solar eclipse and lunar eclipse on the same day. Only God could make that happen.
