Come on, sing us a sea song.

aye, that

These also reel with wine
and stagger with strong drink;
the priest and the prophet reel with strong drink,
they are swallowed by wine,
they stagger with strong drink,
they reel in vision,
they stumble in giving judgment.
For all tables are full of filthy vomit,
with no space left.
“To whom will he teach knowledge,
and to whom will he explain the message?
Those who are weaned from the milk,
those taken from the breast?

(Isaiah 28:7-9)

In the OT usually the abomination that cause the desolation or lord to leave is the result, of the JEWS disobedience and unrighteousness. Not from a man of sin. Not always. Makes me think of the so called church of today. God will not give his glory to another.

The actual abomination which leads to the "setting up" is the incest committed by the king of Daniel 11:20.

What is majorly misleading about that verse is that for about 500 years the word "vile" has been misappropriated to the king of Daniel 11:21 in most versions.
