I remember about 15 years ago, we were living in an apartment near the Muslim mosque, while we built our house. I was quite disabled at the time. We went to a big grocery store, and I waited in the car, rather than walking in and hurting myself.
So while I was sitting in the passenger seat, I notice a car drive up into the "no parking" zone right in front of the store. A Muslim woman in full gear got out of the car. She left the car running, went in with her recycled bags (you had to pay in this store for bags, so probably not an ecological move!)
She walked into the store. I waited about 20 or 25 minutes for my husband to come back. She never came back, but somehow I guess she thought leaving the car on meant she wouldn't be towed. If I had a cell phone back in those days, I would have called a tow truck on her.
I just remembering thinking how dishonest it was to block the drive through lane, and the total dishonesty and lack of consideration she had for other people. I have tried to rationalize that it was just one person, but if I was wearing garb that definitively identified me as a Muslim, or as a Christian, for that matter, I don't think I would bring disrespect upon my faith by deliberately disobeying the posted signs, and leaving my car on all that time.
