Luk 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Mat 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: kjv
mat 3:8 (amp) Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart];

Mat 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Joh 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Rev_19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
1Pe_4:5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
Heb_10:30. . . . . . And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Let's remember the fruit of the Spirit as well :)

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

"Bringing forth fruit with patience" ... we forget those words so often.

I have always thought the bookends to the fruits are Patience and Love. My daughter once said to me while she was going through problems in her marriage, "I finally figured it out. It is only the difficult circumstances that bring forth the fruits. What I'm going through right now is really developing the fruits of endurance, long suffering, patience, forgiveness." But she also knew that she had to stay abiding in the vine to have them come forth.

In the long run, these fruits did not change her husband as we are apt to think they might - but they sure changed HER. It wasn't about herself any longer; it was about bearing fruit to give to those around her who didn't earn them. It became "us instead of me".

I love the scripture "God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction"....

These are awesome fruit.
Consider the way the Lord leads paul from WALKING IN THE SPIRIT into bearing fruit.
if we walk in the Spirit , we will be able to bear fruit

Basically if we walk in the Spirit, situations that might birth rudeness, impatience, we would bear kindness, and patience.
Situations that might try and build pride and contentions, when we WALK IN THE SPIRIT we bear humility and unity.
When rough times comes, when we choose to WALK IN THE SPIRIT, we bear peace, and JOY in the Holy Ghost

I love this part of scripture "That your fruit may stay. " . Its not only about bearing fruit such patience, joy, peace, kindness, humility its about continually having that fruit seen in our lives..

John (Yahchanan) 15:5-14, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

If we were to honestly assess our own lives, would we see progress in this part?
will there truly be growth?

Yes in the long run, but along the way you'll sometimes feel like you are regressing big time, and at best stuck in neutral.

Thank GOD we live by faith and not emotions..
and that we still grow from glory to Glory, and God continues to work with us until we fulfill the purpose of our callings....

Luk 13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Luk 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
Luk 13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
Luk 13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

What does this parable mean??? Is it related to our spiritual lives and how?

Compare it to Paul's letter to the Romans

Romans 2:4-11

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? 5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11For there is no respect of persons with God.

God is good, merciful and patient. He suffers our rebellion against Him, but there will come a time when God will cut down those who will not turn and repent with indignation, wrath, tribulation and anguish.

Thanks, can the number of years have any significance to our literal number of years....??

i don't follow, can you explain?
That if when the bible points that the tree is given more time to bear fruit or late be cut off is the same with us?
that maybe in 3 years or 4 years or not bearing fruit we will be cut off?
