In the beginning was the Son,
and the Son was with the Father,
and the Son was in the Father.
The Son was in the beginning with the Father.
All things were made by Them;
and without Them was not any thing made that was made.
In the Father was the Son; and the Son was the light of men.
And the Son came into the world; and the world received Them not.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
John came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light,
that all men through the Son might believe on the Father.
John was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighten every man that came into the world.
They were in the world, and the world was made by Them,
and the world knew Them not.
They came unto Their own, and Their own received Them not.
But as many as received Them, was given power to become the sons of the Father,
even to those that believe on Their name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of the Father.
And the Son was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld Their glory, the glory as the Son only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
John bare witness of Them, and cried, saying, This was They of whom I spake,
They that came after me is preferred before me: for They was before me.
And of Their fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
For the law was given by Moses,
but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ
the Father in the Son.
No man hath seen the Father at any time; the only begotten Son,
which is in the Father, the Son has declared Them to us.
