He loves you and will be right by your side.
Don't forget to ask God for wisdom and help every day!
I know! Must remember to include God.
Praying wont get you good grades. This is the most principle concept I've been taught in religion class here in Germany.
I believe praying does help, because in James God said ask for wisdom and you will have it.
If you have confidence in your intelligence and knowledge/wisdom then you are already one step ahead of the others.
I'm not completely confident, but I do believe I have good study skills.
If you don't have these qualities, don't wait but take action. If you find your topic interesting, learning will almost seem effortless. If you aren't interested then you are almost guaranteed to fail but if you are interesting, like i said, then you already have the motivation to learn and to succeed.
This is somewhat true. Interesting topics does make it easier to learn, but you can learn what isn't interesting too. I took Intro to Sociology a few years ago, and found it very interesting.
Jamie...are you my daughter?? Oh, wait, she turned 27 last week...lol!
She also went back to finish her college degree a year and a half ago, and is studying, guess what? Yes! sociology and psychology!
She was also pretty scared, but she's got a GPA of 3.97, and she's doing well emotionally, too. God is just so good. We've made the word "good" small, but when he created and called is all good...well, that's a huge word!
So I ask Him for all good for you, dear child. And I trust Him with your life.
love,
ellie
How interesting! I don't think that's chance, I think this is meant to encourage me to go forward! Thank you.

I see you are looking at studying Sociology - a great choice!
* Where will you be going to school?
* Are you pursuing a graduate or under-graduate degree?
* Will you be seeking a joint-major (e.g. Sociology-Anthropology, Sociology-Public Health)?
* What do you hope to do with/ how will you apply your education?
The Bible is the greatest sociology book of all. You will see all the social models, social groups, behaviors and consequences right in that one little book.
Best wishes for your success and for an opportunity to apply your learning experiences to a Christian-based outlook on sociology - our culture needs that!
Will be going to Fairmont State University. Under-graduate degree. Not seeking joint-major. I plan to work for Job Squad or Social Security, educating people about the PASS and other work incentives for disabled people. Or I may work for Summit Center, seeing people get their meds, transporting them, handling their cases.
And I never thought of the Bible as a Sociology book, but you're right! I should be able to learn not just by reading my literature, but also reading the Bible!
Thanks everyone. School starts Monday guys!
