It sounds like you imagine church meetings with two people. One person speaks in tongues and either that person or another person interprets so the church can be edified. If the speaker in tongues sees there is no interpreter, he is to be silent in the congregation and to speak to himself and to God.
Its takes two to have one conversation. The number two represents the church Christ's bride. One person speaks God gives them the interpretation of what the prophecy said, and the other speaks and God interprets it so the two can carry out a conversation involving the thoughts of God (prophecy). If the speaker that speaks in his own language says words but God does not give His interpretation then the whole Church should be silent or a person is just speaking to hear himself. No such thing a self edification which at the most could produce false pride
They are fruits of the unseen Spirit of Christ, called fruits of the eternal Spirit His not ours of the temporal . Only God can see into the heart of all men. We are not to judge by outward appearances. It was the cause of the fall. We walk by faith the unseen according to the prescription for rightly dividing His word of truth.
2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Signs are designed for those who have no faith,(the rebels) prophecy for those who do have faith. Christ said it’s a evil generation….. the generation of Adam as in natural unconverted men that does seek after a sign before they believe. .The last sign the sign of Jonas was given and fulfilled.
You still seem very confused about what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. That instruction of Paul's does not contradict his own miracle working, his own life that demonstrated the fruit of the Spirit, the miracles the apostles did, or the fruit they bore. There was plenty of evidence for the work of their Spirit in their life. I Corinthians 12 even speaks of the 'manifestation' of the Spirit.
It would semm you are turning things upside as if the things of God were of men and those of men were of God. Walking by faith the unseen eternal) is understanding according to the things not seen.... not the things seen
He demonstrated the fruit of
His Spirit, not Paul’s own fruit as if Paul caused the growth and the miracle was attributed to Paul seen and not God the unseen . .
They were miracles God performed as the Sprit of Christ worked in Paul to both will and perform his good pleasure. If we would attribute that work to Paul or any sent one (apostle) we have already committed blaspheme which is attributing the work of one to another…. sort of like plagiarism. It’s the result of men turning things upside down as if the work say of him that made it, said He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? In that way we are to have no gods before him .That kind of ideology would violate the first commandment.
The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia,
The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of,
they rent their clothes, (a sign of blasphemy)and ran in among the people,
crying out,
