Genesis 26:5, “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my (H8451) Laws.”
“Laws” is word #HH8451- תּרה תּורה, tôrâh tôrâh, to-raw', to-raw', From H3384; a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch: - law.
The Law is not fully recorded in writing that we know of until Mosheh’s time, however, Scripture says Abraham and Noah had both obeyed His laws. The Commandments are found in the dbook of Job. Also, in Ezekiyl 28:13-19 it says unrighteousness/evil was found in satan, if there was ow Law there is no right or wrong. It is my belief that when the children of Israyl went into egyptian captivity they fogot all His ways, this is shown by the fact that Yah's name was know as far back as Genesis 4:26, and yet Moses did not know it until Yah told Him in Exodus 3.
Genesis 7:1-2, "Then YHWH said to Noah: Come into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen you righteous before Me in this generation. You shall take with you seven pairs of every clean animal, a male and his female; two of animals that are unclean, a male and his female;"
Leviticus 11:1-2, "And YHWH spoke to Mosheh and Aaron, saying to them: Speak to the children of Israyl, saying; These are the animals you may eat among all the beasts upon the land" 43-44, "You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creature that moves about on the ground. Do not defile yourselves by means of them, nor be made unclean by them. I am YHWH your Heavenly Father. You shall therefore consecrate and sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creature that moves about on the ground." 46-47, "This is the Law of the animals, and the birds, and every living thing that moves in the waters, and every creature that moves about on the ground. You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean--between the animal that may be eaten, and the animal that may not be eaten."
When Abel was killed the Name of YHWH was not spoken, but when Seth was born:
Genesis 4:26, "And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. It was then that the Name of YHWH began to be invoked again."
Genesis 26:5, “Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my Laws.”
Genesis 12:7-8, "Then YHWH appeared to Abram, and said: To your descendants I will give this land. And he built an altar there to YHWH Who appeared to him.And he went from there to the hill east of Beth El, and he pitched his tent there; Beth El was to the west of him, and Ai was to the east. There he built an altar to YHWH, and there he prayed with the Name of YHWH."
So we see in Genesis 12:8 Abraham "prayed with the Name of YHWH" Why then do some translations say " by my name the "LORD" (YHWH - #H3068) I did not make myself known to them" Either there is a contradiction is Scripture or there is a translation error.

Exodus 6:3, “And I appeared to Aḇraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya‛aqoḇ, as Ěl Shaddai. And by My Name, יהוה, was I not known to them?"
The children of Israel were in captivity and had forgotten all things of Yah through their generations, even His name…
Exodus 3:14-15, "And the Mighty One said to Mosheh, “I am that I am.” and He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘I am has sent me to you.’ (The Heḇrew text reads: ’eheyeh ’asher ’eheyeh, the word ’eheyeh, being derived from hayah, which means to be, to exist) And the Mighty One said further to Mosheh, “Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘יהוהStrength of your fathers, the Strength of Aḇraham, the Strength of Yitsḥaq, and the Strength of Ya‛aqoḇ, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations."
Here we can see the Hebrews and the mixed multitude that left Egypt knew the Law before Exodus 20. We don’t know the specifics yet we can seed it is written they heard he Law before Exodus 20. Is this a contradiction to “the giving of the Law” in Exodus 20? No, it is not, because Exodus 20 was the agreement to enter into Covenant with YHWH. I personally find it makes sense that they were already told the Law beforehand, and retold directly from the mouth of YHWH in Exodus 20.
Exodus 16:4, "Then YHWH said to Mosheh: I will rain bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out and gather enough for each day, in order that I may test them, to see whether they will walk in My Law, or not."
Exodus 16:27-28, "Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the Seventh Day to gather it, but they found none. Then YHWH said to Mosheh: How long will you refuse to keep My commandments and My Laws?"
Exodus 18:19, "Listen now to me, and I will give you sound advice, and may YHWH be with you. You must be the people's representative before YHWH and bring their disputes to Him. And you shall teach them the ordinances and Laws, and shall show them the way in which they must walk, and the work that they must do."
Exodus 20:18-21, "20:18, "And all the people saw the thunders, the lightning flashes, the voice of the shophar, and the mountain smoking. And the people saw it, and they trembled and stood at a distance,"20:19, "and said to Mosheh, “You speak with us and we hear, but let not Elohim speak with us, lest we die.”"20:20, "And Mosheh said to the people, “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.”"20:21, "So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Elohim was."
Why did YHWH have Mosheh to teach them?
Because the Israylites were in captivity in Egypt and they forgot all the ways of YHWH.
1 John 5:17, "All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not unto death."
1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."
Ezekiyl 28:13-19, “You were in Ĕḏen, the garden of the Most High. Every precious stone was your covering: the ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, shoham, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald and gold. The workmanship of your settings and mountings was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed keruḇ that covered. And I placed you, you were on the set-apart mountain of Yah. You walked up and down in the midst of stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. By the greatness of your trade you became filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain of Yah, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was lifted up because of your loveliness, you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour. I threw you to the earth, I laid you before sovereigns, to look at you. You profaned your set-apart places by your many crookednesses, by the unrighteousness of your trading. Therefore I brought forth fire from your midst. It has devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth before the eyes of all who see you. All who knew you among the peoples were astonished at you. Waste you shall be, and cease to be, forever.”

1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”
