Hi. I've had OCD since I was 7 (am now 31)in various different forms. For past 9 years I have developed an intrusive thought inside me to curse the Holy Spirit and God. I also have developed a fear of losing salvation if I disobey God in the smallest of things. I. Keep needing to ask for reassurance that oGod still loves me. How do I overcome this? Or should worried that I have committed some sin that might mean I'm not saved?
If you have accepted Christ as your saviour, then you are saved and you need to rest in the Lord.
Even though we are saved the devil will still come to try and torment us so that we become ineffective Christians.
Ineffective in our own lives and ineffective to be a witness to others.
As for your condition, God can take away OCD according to His will.
To overcome wrong thoughts, read the word of God diligently.
Every time a wrong thought comes to your mind, recite scriptures.
Our fight is a spiritual fight but we have the tools
2 Corinthians 10:4-5
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power
to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against
the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ
Ephesians 6:11-17 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.
When I first came to Christ, I too went through similar thoughts.
But I don't now (15 years since I accepted Christ).
In our christian walk we are going to encounter attacks, that's why it is very important to
have a close realtionship with our Father in heaven through prayer and reading his word diligently.
As you continue doing this, your faith will grow more and more and the intrusive thoughts will become less and less.
Basically, as you fill yourself more and more with godly things, then the wordly/wrong things will get lesser and lesser.
