Hi there! My name is Kelsee! I'm not really sure how this works, but I just thought I would post and introduce myself as the site says! I am currently 19 years old and sophomore at Texas A&M. I joined the site for encouragement because I just recently took the 6 month challenge introduced in the book, "Your Night in Shining Armor". For anyone who is unfamiliar with this, I will be pledging to stay single and completely focus on strengthening my relationship with Christ before I begin to continue dating. I am so excited to get to spend this time with Christ and to see how this is going to help me find my future husband that I have been praying for half of my life! If anyone has read this book and taken the challenge or any similar situation and has some advice for me I would really appreciate it! Any additional encouragement and prayers are also appreciated!! :)​

Welcome, Kelsee :). I admire you wanting to get to know Jesus better before getting a man. I suspect that if you do it right, you'll find that the desire for a husband is still there to some extent, though not in quite the same way as before, once you've fallen in love with the King of Kings :). He's so wonderful...anything else He wants you to have will fall into place when you're following Him :). He loves it when we seek Him <3 -Jill
