I have some questions about humor and Christian culture
1. Where is the line between appropriate humor and inappropriate humor
2. Christians seem to have their own brand of humor - do you find it funny?
3, Do you ever find yourself laughing at bad humor because it is clean?
4. Is humor that is not necessarily dirty or inappropriate, yet not edifying ever ok?
5. Where does 'family fun' fit in? I am thinking of Branson, or the Osmonds - do you find this funny or useful?
The reason I am asking is because there was this evangelist during the 80's named Mike Warnike - he ended up being a total fraud, but during the time he was fooling everyone, he billed himself as a Christian comedian. I remember going to one of his events and listening to him - I was about 10 - and thinking that he wasn't very funny - but noticing the intense laughter of the audience - I was a kid, but I still thought it was strange.
