My wife asked, "Isn't that Michael sitting behind us?"

I turned, and there was an old friend I haven't seen for more than a year, hiding his pony-tail under a stupid, beat-up Aussie cowboy hat. He and his wife, Lauri, are down for a week, and we are going to get together with them Thursday night.

You know who I mean, Bruce, so you know how tickled I was to see him. He usually comes down for a conference or a workshop, and we know ahead of time. This time, they just quietly slipped in the side door of the church, and sat down.

About a year ago I kept feeling I was going to meet someone from my past that day. Boarded a plane and who was sitting but 3 seats away? One of the Captains who trained me as a rookie, whom I hadn't seen in probably 7 years.

Small world syndrome :)

maybe 'next-time' they will have a 'key' and can enter your home and
surprise you both - it is a rare-joy to have such 'friends'!!!...:)

by the way, and, this statement will probably 'BLOW' many minds that have put 'us both'
in a 'certain-catagory'...it really is funny and then sad at the other end, of how one choses to
accept and not 'judge' another, but always does, until Jesus teaches them better...

my husband never hides his 'pony-tail, pulled-back or loose' and it's probably as long as my hair is,
and that's pretty 'long'...but, un-fortunately, I don't have the capability to grow a
beard and mustache! wonder what that would be like?

there are many 'out-there' who identify with us', because, we were always, always, separate
from the world, in 'some-way'...you know who you ARE!

I had also been thinking of both Michael and Lori just two days before.

That's great news! You'll enjoy having some good talks with him. I like his teachings and the fact he isn't religious.
