Here is a YouTube video of Pastor Mark Lawless of Battlefield Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY. Although the topic of this particular video is the rise of evangelical feminism, I want you to pay more attention to his preaching style in general:

Next, is a video from Calvary Baptist church (also IFB) in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The pastor in this video is not nearly as strident as the one in the first video. In fact, he says that he used to preach a lot of the sermons which have given IFB churches a bad name. He also lists general characteristics of IFB churches, even though not all IFB's adhere to all these or to the same extent.

Just wanted to get some thoughts on these videos. Please, no flaming or disparaging of one another. Also, don't get into a long and drawn-out discussion about whether feminism has any place in the church. We have plenty of threads on that already. And should this thread get out of hand, I will allow the mods to close it.

Lots of comments could be made about the subject matter but a concern that jumped out at me was the age the pastors, maturity tends to bring more wisdom :rolleyes:

Feminism has no place in the church because it's not about equal rights, it's about subjugating men. Feminism is misandry.
