Is it Biblical, that God would rally fighters in a war today?

So, the question is, do you think God would call warriors and prepers to start preparing for the upcoming war? Because I feel like I have been called for such a thing. To start preparing for the coming war, and for those who might be left here if the rapture is what many people think it is.

For if it is, I will have family left here, children raised in church, but not Christian, and not ready to go. And if the rapture theory is wrong or the timing is wrong, then we will live thru the tribulation, wait, I should say, a few of us will live thru the tribulation.

I have been trying to find if God would call warriors and prepers to prepare for this in the Bible, and have a few verses, like the be ready anytime verses, coming like a thief in the night and such, but is there anything I might be missing.

ANYTHING THAT THE LORD HAS PUT ON YOUR HEART THAT YOU THINK MIGHT BE HELPFUL. That's what I'm looking for.

I really feel that people should stop reading newspapers for their take on the future and start studying the Bible
instead. Yes the world situation is bad at present but then it has been worse in the past and may well be in the future.
Whether Christ is coming in our life time nobody knows. We are not supposed to sit around waiting for it we are supposed to be living our lives and trying to make a difference here and now. As for warriors well if you read Ezekiel and Revelation the people who are wiped out are in armies so I wouldn't think being part of one would be a good idea.
