I have "planned" to play it all by ear ... simply to trust in God ... He will lead me.
If you play it by ear, then you are being foolish. If you really trust in God, then understand the parable.

Matthew 25:1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

How did God act in the past?

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

So basically the anti-Christ will come first and God will give people up to the delusion that the anti-Christ is God. The anti-Christ has to come first to be a surprise and for people to believe the lie so those who believe that believers are going through the Great Tribulation are part of that lie because they don't really believe God and because they pick and choose what they want to believe.
Do you believe, that the faithful believer(the church) will be gone before the anti-Christ appears? And that those left here will think themselves Christians(well, many of them anyway), yet were only Sunday saints?

Peace n Love~
A man of God was visited in a dream one night, it told him God would save him from an upcoming event.

3 days later, the apartment the man lived in, on the 6th floor, caught on fire. The man prayed for God to save him, and his door suddenly crashed open, a huge man was in the doorway, and yelled at the man of God, come on, the path is clear, we have to get out of here, the man of God said, The Lord my God has promised to save me, and i accept Him at his word. So, the man of God stayed.
He continued in prayer, and his window was suddenly busted open, a fireman was on a ladder truck, yelling he said, get on, i have many to rescue, the man of God says, it's not your place to rescue me, my God has promised to save me, so the fireman went on, while the man of God continued praying.
A few minutes past, and a hole was busted in the man's roof, a construction worker was yelling down the hole, grab my hand, i think we can cross the rooftop and get away from the fire, the man of God said, i trust that my Lord will save me, and i will wait for Him to rescue me.
Not 5 minutes after the construction worker left, the building collapsed and the man of God died.

When he came face to face with God, the man begged God to tell him, 'why did you promise to save me Lord, and then let me die in the fire?'
God answered him, I sent you help 3 times, and you ignored Me everytime, though you were a faithful servant, you were a foolish servant, and refused my help every time. 3 of my angels came unto you, and you disregarded them, how then am i supposed to help you, when your eyes are closed, and your mind is closed. So i kept my word unto you, and you let yourself die.

There is a difference between faithfulness and foolishness, you can be faithful and foolish, or you can be faithful and have a little common sense.

Seriously? You assume a WHOLE LOT from the few words I uttered. YOUR first concern should be praying for "ears to hear" ....

I pray for ears to hear, and eyes to be opened, and a mind that is willing to accept what is revealed to me. And mostly i pray for strength to do as He asks me to do.

Simply put, if you just 'play it by ear' and simply trust in God to lead you, you will get to Heaven, but how much of Hell will you and yours have to endure first? Are you willing to kill if God commands you to kill? And if you believe that God won't ask you to kill, or sacrifice everything, do you believe that God asked the same of many in the Bible?

To the contrary ... I have great peace living like this ... trusting God, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. Don't worry- Don't fear- TRUST.

No I would not kill and God would never ask me to kill ... He tells me to love my enemy. I would allow myself to be killed rather than kill.

And as for your worries about enduring tribulation " ...but how much of Hell will you and yours have to endure first?"-TinyTom

Romans 5:3-5
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Tribulation will only strengthen my faith ............GOD SAID SO. :)

Then God knows you don't have it in you to kill, and that's not a bad thing. But, i believe God will ask some people to kill in the war that is coming, the final war. I'm not saying that God is going to tell a man to go blow up a Mosque or anything like that, just that God's view of war is different than ours, and like a child that is taken without reason, God has a reason for everything that He does.

And yes, A man after God's own heart, killed in times of war, and even when there wasn't a war going on, and he is the greatest king Israel has known, to this point.

And if your trust in God is high enough, He will find a way to protect you in order for you to do what it is that He has appointed for you to do. Even if someone has no trust in God, but God has a plan for them, to serve Him, in one fashioned or another, then it's gonna happen.

Faith is great, sometimes it's all we have, but, like Jesus asked.

If you knew that a thief was coming into your house at midnight, wouldn't you be ready for that thief? Call the police, have a party, avoid the house, something, anything, to be ready for that thief.

Preparing for the time when a true believer in Christ cannot buy or sell, is to me, being faithful. For every Christian that lives another day, will spread the Gospel to all they encounter, so i will not sit idly by and let any just die, because some people think God will protect them.

God will use Christians to protect Christians, and help Christians, and spread the Gospel, even if it's Christians who have already died, or been raptured, we can prepare for those who are left here.

Israel doesn't recognize Jesus as the Messiah. Israel is a people, in the tense i was meaning, not the country.

Faith is all we really NEED. :)
Then do this, spend the rest of the week, faithfully praying that God fill your belly, and your bladder.

If faith is all we really need, then faith will keep our bellies full, and our hands warm, and our minds clear.

Do you see the ridiculousness of this argument. But, please prove me wrong, go the week with just prayer and fasting, show me, that faith is all we need.

I'm really not trying to be mean or insensitive, but we need more than just faith, we need to use the brains and hands, and feet and resources that God has provided to us.

If you truly believe that as the end all be all, then you are one of the needy, that needs to be fed, for you can't feed yourself. I'm sorry.

Again you stretch my words to argue with me ... It's ok - I forgive you. :)

I'm sure there will be a day when people come knocking on my door because we (Christians) are enemy's of the state. I mean to actually go to war over that would depend entirely on the situation. But I think if I felt my family was in geopordy then of course I would do whatever to protect them. But if it was just me I would probably just go in peace. But who knows? It really depends on the situation and what the spirit says to us in that moment. Honestly if you feel convicted to prep, then by all means prep don't look to the opinions of others to do so. And I'm sure you won't. But I'm sure God will let us know what to do and we shouldn't need to worry.

i just pray for those who do not know him, that they may see his glory and know that he is lord of lords
