I do not believe it is, but common sense is given to us all. I like to thin that psychologists and psychiatrists are seeking common sense in their approach to individuals' problems.
Whil attending the U of Illinois my circle of friends turned out to be the graduate studenst of astrophysices and psychology. The doctor candidates of psychology all seemed to have deeply seated problems themselves, and they were not shy about admitting it.
Once in Parise at an outdoor cafe I found in a conversation with a French psychiatrist that previous to his studies he had a litany of obssessions. He wanted to kill hi girlfriend, his mother, a prostitute and a priest. Yes he had had these obsession,. Happily he never did, but he did have good psychiatric care, and he became a psychiatrist in order to know himself better and the problems of others.
Personally, I do not put any stock in any of that field unless common sense is guiding the approach to care........God bless all in Jesus Christ.
