Another point- when someone is born again they have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside their soul. This is His seal, the sealing of the Holy Spirit.
KJV:
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
1 John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
So to the OP- if you are born again, then you have the Holy Spirit with you in your soul. And He has promised eternal life to you.
Be comforted by this
If you really are being deceived by demons.. they can't actually get 'in you' because you have the Holy Spirit 'in' you.
A demon cannot co-habitat in your soul with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is waaaaay more powerful than a demon.
Now.. like other posts have typed..
I would eliminate mental disturbance and medical factors before going to the 'it's demons' conclusion.
Even christian psychologists and therapists would do this first before going to 'it's demons' (That is if they have their theology sound).
Of course, prayer first and time with God in the Word.. is no.1 .. numero uno. Because God does heal. Through spending time with Him
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
(Galatians 5:22-23) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Phillpians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are
true, whatsoever things are
honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of
good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
