Matthew 8:19) And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20 .) And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Thinking about this, and how sometimes we are not content with such as we have. Yet, what we have, we should praise God for, for God is surely good, and He will provide for our "needs." I strive to be content with such as I have, and not give in to the spirit of discontent that causes us to "regret our present circumstance."
The Author of Hebrews said:
Chapter 13, Verse 5
5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 .) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
I know it isn't as easy as it sounds, but I believe if we are able to learn to be content with such as we have, there would be far less stress and discontent in our lives, which would enable us to be better servants to His will for us.
God bless.........
