Here are my thoughts.

He never really loved you if he doesn't love you with a little extra weight.

If it's a health issue he should encourage you and support you in losing that weight, but never make you feel less or unbeautiful.

Your husband lacks warmth and is insensitive. I don't believe that you are the one who is in need of therapy. I was young once and had a horrible first marriage too. It happens. You pick up the pieces and move on.
