No doubt, and when all of those weapons get used against Israel who will be responsible and guilty by association?
We have already supplied Israel with the anti weapons systems to fend off the weapons systems we gave to their enemies. LOL! When it comes to making a extra buck off this war machine the US is not bias. :)

It will be interesting what these "new war powers" will detail, but from what I've read thus far they sound pretty broad.

Obama faces tough sell to get new war powers to fight IS - The Denver Post

The language seems to leave open any amount of ground troops if needed, the war would not be limited by any geographic location, which means they can make war globally. And the language is not limited to ISIS only....but to any other group that might be an offshoot of the terror group.
Lone wolf domestic extremists also being discussed at this time. Hmmmmm

'Lone wolves' spotlighted in the fight against violent extremism

The "war powers" Obama seeks would actually limit what he is already doing. He's a joke, a buffoon, perhaps a traitor. God help us for two more years.

Saw a debate on this yesterday. Some Repubs say it's not enough, some Dems say it's too much........but the point brought up that I found interesting was when the panel was asked: Why would Obama tie his own hands by limiting his options. Did not hear a good answer..........mostly stumbles over this one.

Now, I could be wrong, but in my opinion, he presented this specific request to Congress so that IF it all goes to Hades in a hand cart over there...........he can say, Well, I did all I could under the limitations placed on me by the Republican led Congress...........Keep in mind, this is just my opinion.

No one want to say out loud that he has no interest in fighting a war on Islam because that would imply the obvious answers as to why, and no one wants to be associated as being the first legitimate reporter or resident expert to vocalize those answers.

Yes, I have no doubt he is capable of conveniently forgetting who originated the war powers document he sent over to the Hill.

So before granting new war powers and unlimited military spending, one might ask what did thousands of dead Americans, tens of thousands of dead civilians, and trillions of dollars get us so far?

“What did thousands of dead Americans get us?” Before granting war powers, let’s see where the last two got us - Salon.com
I guess you don't know who Robert Hennelly, the article's author, is, huh? He says that U.S. greed and its military spending caused the Ebola outbreak in Africa, among other idiocies.

And apparently he doesn't understand that not confronting ISIS in it's own front yard is tantamount to ceding the Mideast and southern Europe to them. Hope you can both live with that. The rest of us, however, believe it is necessary to take the fight to them.

Interesting, given that our new SecDef has apparently kicked his boss in the butt and knocked some sense into him.

White House says Obama willing to negotiate details of force authorization request

The White House has said that President Barack Obama is open to negotiating several aspects of his proposed authorization to use military force against the ISIS terror group, including his proposed three-year time limit on U.S. military action and the use of ground troops.
Then again, we'll wait and see on that one. He's claimed "willingness to negotiate" on past occasions, but usually that means he'll negotiate until Congress comes around to his way of thinking.

Things are being set into place that will usher in the Anti-CHrist, period. Haven't you learned by now that anything that OBAMA endorces or does not endorce matters not in the grand scheme of things. People put too much stock into Obama as if he is actually in control of anything. What a joke!

"The International Socialist Review"?? Really??

View attachment 98535

What, you couldn't find a more blatantly biased and slanted viewpoint than that one? You should have looked at the Communist Daily Worker. I'll be it has one more erroneous and outlandish. Still, they'd have to go some to reach the point this article does.
History speaks for itself, hard to hide the truth no matter the source.:)

There is no truth or history in that article. Just anti-American rhetoric and propaganda. Could have just as easily been published by ISIS.

Ya we need to stick with what the government says is true, after all the CIA and NSA would never try to mislead us, or dare even lie to us concerning any of their secret activities right? BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!

Watching the news the last couple of weeks I heard a couple of EU law makers mention that the war on terror is not just a war on extremists, but also a war on an ideology. Now I have no sympathy for the devil, but when leaders of the world mention a war on ideologies, then that should be of concern for even Christians. Knowing what prophecy says concerning the upcoming war against the Lamb and His followers, world governments could also slap a label on other religious ideologies besides that of Islam.

New broad war powers could open up a whole new can of worms.
Let the war on ideologies begin.....didn't take long to pass new laws did it?

Austrian reform singles out Muslims for harsh new requirements

They are going to "Austrianize" Islam.....quote from article "Analysts say the law, which the parliament passed overwhelmingly, is an attempt to “Austrianize” Islam and bring more official oversight of the faith at a time when fears of radicalization are rife in Europe."
