Would all of these mean we are not to waste time on movies, games, sports, shopping, news, politics and things that do not bring us closer to our Father? after all these things being left with little time to seek our Father would that not insult Him to seek junk more than seeking Him?
Also if we put more time devoted to things of this world than we do our Father does that not show where our heart and love is?
Philippians 3:19 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

one should ask themself how conformed to this worlds ways they really are before we meet our maker in our own due time
