Don't try to understand the darkness, the Lord dosn't want us to enter into it, enter into prayer, and resist these thoughts. It you've ever seen the inside of a human, it is lie a crayon box, our veins, blue, muscles redish, and we are wonderfully made. Don't hate yourself because there is too much hate in the world.
Nothing could seperate us from the Love of God, it is more than the hate, for greater is he within us, Jesus
than he that is in the world, evil.

The World is consumed by sin, sin brings death and distruction - it is unfortunately the downside of being on this planet, but God says that we are from this world we are not OF this world, we are different, we have God as our mediator and our first love, he's also our Father and our delivered.

You haven't told us what is bothering you, but I will mention that people can be quite cruel, but the Lord is not cruel. We can always commune with him. As a matter of fact, he WANTS us to commune with him:

[35] And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him.
[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38] This is the great and first commandment.
[39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:34-40 RSV
