I was looking back over my daily pain and med chart for the last year, and I was startled to see how much prednisone I was taking, but also how much pain I was in. You don't noticed how RA is improving, because it is a slow process for the meds to work. I am near 95% flare free!
So thanks to everyone who has been keeping me in prayer.
But I am still in a lot of pain from non-RA related issues, and RA damage. I have an old whiplash injury that is so bad right now it is keeping me awake. I also have a lot of damage in my hands and other joints. Plus I've been fighting to keep my right knee cap in place for weeks. RA has really destroyed my knees, bike riding used to help, now, it seems like I have to keep the knees taped up, even to go to sleep. Just rolling over in bed can dislocate my knees.
Chronic pain can be very debilitating, and I am very tired of it. At least with RA flares, I had hope I would get better. Now, assessing all the damage from the past 2 years of med failure plus other damage, I'm pretty discouraged.
Thanks in advance!
