I am really thinking of you, depression is a hard one, my hubby use to suffer from what they term sesional depression. I confess at times I use to become quite short tempered with him, and failed to understand, so of course being me, went into study mode and was suprised at what I found.
Obviously the brain is made up of many chemicals and to much of one and too little of another means we have these bad thoughts, then of course why does this happen to some and not other's?
Food for me was the starting point, we increased the positive and decreased the negative. My hubby is such an amazing person and even today will have an occasional bit of bad, and then will apologise to us all the next day when he either becomes very quite and reserved, or is like a raging bull wanting to tear the house down. Seeing his reaction let me understand what the Lord meant in the garden of eden and so many references He made to food.
