Okay but that was not Jesus. Do we know that that wine was not grape juice. It is known that grape juice settles the stomach. As I said there was differentiation between wine and grape juice until 1929.
Numbers 6:3 he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins.

sorry that is not a true statement there is different word for WINE, Vinegar and grape juice

Actually in 18 sumpin with a T. A rule was made that any wine that did not contain alcohol was to be labeled grape juice. Before that if it came from a grape it was called wine.
You're aware that the ability to preserve grape juice without fermenting it is relatively new technology right?

If you didn't have grapes fresh off the vine their juice would either be rotten or have alcohol in it. Grape juice as we know it didn't exist before the 1860's. That's why the distinction appeared around then.

You have your history almost completely backwards...

When the Bible says herb of the earth it is not talking about something you smoke but things you eat, plant life.Which man did not eat animals but only plant life until after the flood.

Anything that has a negative impact or hurts you in any way God would not tolerate, like smoking marijuana.

Cannabis smoking 'permanently lowers IQ' - Teenagers who regularly smoke cannabis are putting themselves at risk of permanently damaging their intelligence, according to a landmark study.

Cannabis smoking 'permanently lowers IQ' - Telegraph

Researchers found persistent users of the drug, who started smoking it at school, had lower IQ scores as adults.

They were also significantly more likely to have attention and memory problems in later life, than their peers who abstained.

Furthermore, those who started as teenagers and used it heavily, but quit as adults, did not regain their full mental powers.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that CC actually has an entire thread about pot.

Did I just wake up in some weird parallel universe?

The potheads are always trying to justify their high. One of the things drugs do is affect the brain to influence the personality so the drug addiction actually becomes a good thing to the addicted user rather than the bad thing it is in reality. This is the brain working for continued access to an external drug it has become dependent on.
