I like this little series Tintin, good find indeed. Watched the Leviticus movie so far and I thought it was a good example or summary, albeit a lil modernistic, but not bad. Lol the first time I go through the Bible it's kinda like you all, it's very common that people get bored with Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and Numbers. For my second time reading them I actually kinda liked it in the sense that it made more sense to me than the first time reading through them. One thing though that video of Leviticus kinda showed, but didn't mention specifically. Basically you can see within the basic ideals they describe in the video about Leviticus how their ancient law structures, particularly God providing the sacrifice for the sins foretell of Jesus. Also even before all this in Genesis, which is foreshown in the rest of the Pentateuch books is shown with Abraham and Isaac when Abraham goes to sacrifice Isaac and says God will provide the lamb, and God indeed does so saving Isaac, which also is a foretelling of Jesus.
I was the same at first getting bored with Lev, Num, Deut etc but over the years I have
discovered amazing things in them. Not one part of those books is wasted, they
all point to a massive bigger picture.
The different coverings of the tabanacle in the wilderness have meanings, even
the temple decorations speak of God's mind. Have you ever done a
bible search to look up the word flowers, leaves etc. It's amazing how it all
links together.
Or try doing a bible word search on "door" there are many references
in the Old Testament, so many point to Jesus the door, or closing the door to
sin and opening the door to Jesus.
While doing a word study on doors I had some amazing dreams.
In one I was in a dark room and a door opened just a few inches, through the
gap shone a brilliant white dazzling light.
Another great word study to do is gates.
