You know, Christ came to set us free, to have a vibrant and living relationship with him!
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36
If you read John 8:34-45, you will find that Jesus is talking to the Pharisees. The Pharisees were great for making rules that no one could keep and being inclusive, rather than loving others as themselves.
You have lost the essence of what it means to be Christian.
"And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, andyour neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 ESV.
Try and remember God speaks to people in different ways, and he does not care about culture, or 400 year old versions of the Bible which no one understands today and have translation errors.
God loves all people and our job is not to judge and condemn because of some cultural issues, but rather to present the gospel of Jesus Christ - crucified and risen from the dead!
"I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, [SUP]11 [/SUP]and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." Phil. 3:10-11
By constantly presenting these ridiculous 1950's diatribes, you are not presenting the true gospel of Christ.
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." John 3:17
