A new user with whom I have never corresponded and who has never posted on a thread emails me out of the blue the following message:

Good day to you my dear friend and sorry for intruding into your privacy well, I am Mary Morgan a cancer patient and widow. I will like to share my life story with you. Here is my mail address([email protected]) or you give me your email address because i don't usually open this site.

If anyone else has received this message please report in to the Administrators. It's a scam. She's actually listed on a SCAM ALERT in the Google search engine.
We get people sending mails like this every so often. Not uncommon. The story is always different, but the attempt to get you to email them is always the same. While technically i don't know that the behavior is wrong according to posted rules, it may still be a good idea to report the message. At the very least it alerts the mods to suspicious behavior. And they may already have a policy against this behavior already.

I received this message too! I just ignored it, it's usually a request for money - not that I'm cynical or anything lol.
