There is so much misinformation and misunderstanding about the truth of what sex is that even Christians who obey God in regard to sex haven't a clue why.

Sex has such profound and deep meanings that only God understands the full implications of it. If any of you take the time to read all the verses in the bible with the word harlot in it, it gives some indication. For us, it is the physical means by which a male and female become one in marriage. When we become one with someone, it takes in a lot of sharing and working together.

How the world treats sex and how they understand it is a caricature of sex. Some say that marriage is personal, that government shouldn't be involved. Scripture says we are to submit to authority. Usually, when couples tell each other that they don't need to make a legal commitment it means they don't really mean the spiritual commitment. It makes divorce easy, they think. God allows for divorce because of our humanness, but it is serious.

When the bible talks of willful sin we don't repent of and ask forgiveness for, it talks of sin resulting in death. I guess it means the same thing as "you will go to hell", but I like the biblical explanation better.

No man in and of himself can quit any fleshly acts of self desire through one's puberty and leads ot not only harm oneself but others along the way. And because of the flesh not caring and only will care for those that care for them, just can't see this.
so God brought in the Law that is just, true holy and perfectly correct. Now when it flowed or flows thorugh any flesh and blood we become quilty are not able to perform, not perfectly ever.
So God in God's Mercy over sacrifice, gave the ultimate sacrifice of his Son to give Mercy to all those that believe and those that have recieved Mercy give Mercy and agianst such is no Law. The Law of Love is Mercy and one will not do those things that you spoke of as being harsh.
The believers appreciate what God has done for them in advance before any of us here were ever born, and our response is thank you so deeply and praising so much for this amazing gift that there is no time for sin consciousness as was iin the Old Testament having to sacrifice year after year to be clean.
Those days are over and if one wants to live righteously, the only way is through Christ. We as beleivers are no more that partakers of his righteousness in the Spirit of given to us by the resurrected Christ to those that believe and God has approved knowing what is in our hearts, whether pure or of their own desire. for this is how we will be judged by our motive(s)

Humans are gonna become extinct cos no one is getting married!! Lol!!!

You are pointing out the terrible seriousness of our current way of life. People actually think that they are on their own without God, but no one is without God. God and what He is, how He created the world is how it is for everyone. People can't create sex or marriage, it was done by God. I don't think that God is looking at the piece of paper that married people have, but that piece of paper is a sign of something profound.

People say they have redefined all of it. There are porn sites on the net making a mockery of all the meaning of it. I don't think they know at all what they are really doing, and if they did they would be horrified.

Now why should a fornicator and a murderer be punished in the same way and "have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone...?" Or are you talking about different parts of the lake of fire? Are some parts better than other parts? Would a murderer get to an even hotter part of the lake, while the fornicator should do his or hern eternal time in a more chilly bay of the lake? I think we've got a problem whenever somebody is condamning others and tells them no matter the sin you are going straight to Hell! And I got to add: I'd rather be the neighbor of a non repenting fornicator than the neighbor of a repenting mass murderer.

it doesn't matter how "culture" changes the world today, what we have to do is just keep putting trust into scripture. Scripture does not change unless God adds to it and as far as i know nothing has changed since the New testament was written .So if you fornicate before marriage then you are sinning, and it doesn't matter what culture says, even it is "standard" in culture today.

well i think most people wait until marriage to have children today, so those people wouldn't go to hell at least for fornicating since they are married. But people who fornicate outside of marriage still sin.
