why did you cut the part out of verse 23 that says tose whwho wont subject themselves to Yahweh's Law will be cast aside?
are you trying to hide truth?
Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."
iniquity is:#0458 ἀνομία anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459
Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
Hizikyah,
before i was called and baptized into Christ i:
broke every single commandment.
every day. every minute of every day.
ALL OF THEM....ALL - regularly.
totally lost and completely without Christ; without hope and utterly condemned.
....
then....i heard the LAW...and it's pronouncement against me.
then i heard the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
2 Corinthians 5
20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ,
be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
okay?
well i asked - what does that mean?
Romans 1:17
For
in the gospel the righteousness of God
is revealed--a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
wait - shouldn't it say IN THE LAW the righteousness of God is revealed?
because i HEARD THE LAW...i heard what it said...i HEARD the righteousness of God in THE LAW.
and i knew i was done for.
Romans 3:21
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
what?
how can
the righteousness of God be known APART FROM HIS OWN LAW?
chóris: separately, separate from
Original Word: χωρίς
Part of Speech: Adverb
Transliteration: chóris
Phonetic Spelling: (kho-rece')
Short Definition: apart from, without
Definition: apart from, separately from; without.
5565 xōrís (a preposition, also used as an adverb which is probably derived from 5561 /xṓra, "an open or detached space") – properly, apart from, separated ("without"); (figuratively) detached, rendering something invalid or valid.
and how can that RIGHTEOUSNESS
OF GOD (it says OF GOD), which is apart from, separated ("without"); (figuratively) detached, rendering something invalid or valid,
be something that is testified to IN THE Law and the Prophets?
1) i have already determined when i heard the Law, that i am done for.
2) now i hear there is some other righteousness of God that is separate from the Law (which i know makes me DONE FOR)
3) i hear this Righteousness of GOD (it says it is HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS) is testified to; in the LAW & the prophets.
4) and it says THAT Righteousness of GOD is
IN THE GOSPEL
Romans 1:17
For
in the gospel the righteousness of God
is revealed--a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
well....what does THAT MEAN? faith in the Law? or faith in the Gospel?
OR FAITH
IN JESUS CHRIST
do you set aside the grace of God; revealed in the Gospel; testified to in the Law & The prophets; THE RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD:
Galatians 2:20
19"For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. 20"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. 21"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."
do you?
....
what happens when we have died to and through the LAW (which can not save)?
Galatians 2
19"For
through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. 20"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
gave Himself up for me.
21"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."
....
so what about that prior life of Lawlessness that i was given the REMEDY FOR?
that Righteousness of God that is found apart from the Law, in the GOSPEL?
what instructions did PAUL (New Testament Paul) give me, this wretched person who came crawling to the GOSPEL having heard the LAW.....having believed GOD - and having THAT counted as righteousness, not my own - the RIGHTEOUSNESS that depends on FAITH?
and having believed, having been baptized into Christ?
what did Paul tell me about God's Law and Holiness and what i now need to do; having believed the good News of His salvation in Jesus Christ the Lord?
Romans 6
13and
do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness;
but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
14
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
.....
now,
if you honestly believe (and i am now convinced many of you do), that God says then GO BACK UNDER THE LAW (you had better be CIRCUMCISED), and
nullify the Grace of God (HIS Righteousness apart from the Law)....
because He is
not ABLE to sanctify you and transform you (teaching you to stop sinning and presenting your members for unrighteousness), through the New Covenant by the indwelling of
GOD the Holy Spirit....you go right on ahead and accuse people of being LAWLESS....
and i will go on ahead in the doctrine of Christ and His apostles, as one
"alive from the dead" continue in Christ's teachings, striving more and more to present my members
as instruments of righteousness to God.
why?
you better take another look at this:
Galatians 2
19"For through the Law I died to the Law,
so that I might live to God.
20"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and
the life which I now live in the flesh
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
21"I do not nullify the grace of God, for
if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."
..
you have some reckoning to do with Paul (who i know you claim you believe, but it is evident you do not):
Galatians 2
19"For through the Law I died to the Law,
so that I might live to God.
if you are living to GOD - you must BE DEAD TO THE LAW...in order to live according to the Spirit, Who is LIVING, and has written the NEW LAW on our hearts....you've been shown over and over what that is...and i'm going to call you out on your favorite cherry-picking.
The Righteousness of God is NOW revealed
apart from the Law.
the fact that you don't accept this, means you better be certain you are keeping the WHOLE LAW.
all of it. because you don't want to stand before God and say:
my righteousness comes through the Law,
and Christ died needlessly.
