We can learn many lessons from the book of Amos; i.e.
1.All people will be held accountable for their sins; God hates violence and oppression of the weak.
2. Priviledge carries responsibility God's people will be judged if they take this Grace for granted and fail to follow Him.
3. If there is no turning to God, no meeting with Him, then "worship" is more ritual; and therefore hypocritical and God hates hypocrisy.
4. A false trust in God's Promises can give false sense of spiritual security and might cause a person to think that there is no need to repent.
5. When God speaks; You shouldn't be quiet. Witnessing is just as important as prayer.
Please read (Acts 15:16-18 and Amos 9:11-15).
