Did you guys know God's "two witnesses" that will appear in Jerusalem have a part in manifesting the plagues of the Vials upon the beast during the tribulation time?
Rev 11:3-6
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
KJV
Here's the connection in Rev.16 with the Vials being about "plagues":
Rev 16:9
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, Which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.
KJV
That 1260 days is the latter half of Daniel's symbolic "one week" of Dan.9:27. Right at the end of those 1260 days, this will happen to them, and the world will rejoice at their demise for three and one half days because of how God's two witnesses tormented them:
Rev 11:7-10
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
KJV
The commission of God's "two witnesses" will be very similar to the commissions of Moses and Aaron in the days of Israel's captivity to Egypt with God forcing the hand of Pharaoh to let His people go; in that God worked very similar plagues upon Egypt.
In the example of Moses and Aaron, God did not not allow them to be harmed. That is one difference with this example of God's "two witnesses" for the end in our near future, as they will be killed by the beast king that ascends up out of the bottomless pit. By that the wicked and deceived will think they have finally triumphed, which is why they will rejoice over their deaths and "make merry", sending gifts to one another.
During that tribulation time, only the first 6 Vials (which are plagues per Rev.16:9) are involved by God's two witnesses. The final 7th Vial will still be yet to come at that point right after their deaths. That means God's "two witnesses" are not involved with manifesting the final 7th Vial plague.
The next event after the three and one half days ends the 6th Trumpet - 2nd Woe period, with God's two witnesses being resurrected to the shock of all who see it. In that same hour, the great earthquake in Jerusalem happens (Rev.11:11-14).
Rev.11 does not specifically declare the event of God's cup of wrath poured out with the final 7th Vial, but it does describe it in passing very briefly in the Rev.11:18 verse:
Rev 11:14-18
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, Which art, and wast, and art to come; because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
KJV
And that pouring out of God's cup of wrath with that 7th Vial on the final day of this world is a plague also:
Zech 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
KJV
That "plague" is the event of "sudden destruction" that Apostle Paul spoke of in 1 Thessalonians 5 that will occur upon those who will be saying, "Peace and safety" at the end on the "day of the Lord". This is how those events of Rev.11 perfectly align with what God's OT prophets and Christ's Apostles taught about the last days of the end of this world.
