As some of you may already know, my lord and savior Jesus Christ has saved me from my sins and with this forgiveness, his will is what I'm striving to uphold. Far from perfect, I just listen as he whispers. I've been led to open this post to help me understand what the unforgivable sin might be.
I read some posts in another part of this site with many ideas of what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit might be. I'm not a bible expert but have begun to read more often in the past few weeks. The reason I'm writing this is because of a book I read many years ago entitled "He Came to Set the Captives Free." This book tells of the spiritual world we cannot see but is fully surrounding us everyday. The story is of a very powerful witch (demonically possessed) who with the help of a Christian nurse was saved.
She tells of the amount of power she had and how she could use it. She attacked churches in spirit form and many other things. Now, if a woman such as this is forgivable, which she was forgiven, but the battle took a long time, what is the unforgivable sin?
One way to be unforgiven is to refrain from giving forgiveness. Is it possible to accept forgiveness from Christ and yet hold on to hatred or anger toward someone else for things committed against us? The king and the servant parable answers that question. With as much as the servant was forgiven, he would not forgive his fellow servant and once the king heard of this he was still cast into prison. Once again I'm not sure the exact bible references for this parable, maybe, someone could help me with that.
Now as far as the unforgivable sin goes, will the anti-Christ be the one who truly commits this sin? Doing signs and wonders while claiming to be Christ would instigate a true blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and those who take his mark will condemn themselves before God. For no one with his mark shall make the kingdom.
May God bless you, I love you as our Father has loved us all.
