There is some talk even among people professing to be Christians, and I only say professing to be. Because the scriptures teach us, that at the end, there were some that thought they were in, but were cast into that everlasting fire. There is a teaching among Christians today that is it pleasing to God with we unite with other religions. As long as we respect their religion then we are pleasing our Father who art in Heaven, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is called the one world religion, our Bibles are being geared so that all religions can use one bible. In the process of not offending anyone for their belief in the superior being. The thought that will be and already has some been taught is that it is better to believe in some higher power than not to believe at all. This goes against Christianity, in every aspect. In the Old Testament even as with Daniel when they were to worship, they were to turn toward God, turn toward the Holy City, Jerusalem, and pray. To bow down in a temple that honors other gods, is turning away from our God, Who's name Is Jealous (*1 Exd. 34:14). I am the Lord thy God. The push toward a univerisal prayer, where people are being told it is okay to pray as long as we do not pray in the name of Jesus. This itself should wake up, alarm and alert Christians to the overhelming push for the oncoming universal religion. Many have already agreed that in order to love others as God has told us, that we wll oblige this reguest of not using the Name of our Messiah, that is set above any name by God. This is respecting others over the respect that we have for our God that has said what ever ye ask in my Name. If we will not share with others that they have been mislead, that there is not many ways into Heaven, but that that way is straight and narrow, that the Way, the Truth and the Life, is Jesus Christ and Him alone. That it is very much displeasing to our God if we join them in their temple of many gods, and that in order to truely love our God that we must separate ourselves from the many gods or all gods are good faith. If we do not share this thought with them, then why would they ever repent from their worship of false gods and turn to the one true God. If they will never accept that Jesus is the way and believe that God sent Jesus to die for theirs sins, then they are condemned already. Believeth thou this? (*2 John 3:17-19). If you don't then, you are not a Christian, so quit using the Name of Christ. I would rather you were hot or cold than to be luke warm thus saith the Lord your God. Here is a part of scriptures that shows us a true aspect of what God thinks of coming together with other religions. let those that have eyes see, and those that have ears hear. I pray in the Name of Jesus that all who read this will take heed to what Jehova, our Lord says.
Numbers 25:1 And Israel abode in Shi-ttim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.
4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.
*1 Ex 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
*2 John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
