HEY, Tired of those cut rate grocery store brownies? Then you've come to the right place. I got a recipe for you that will make you never desire them again.
Trilogic's Illogically Thick Fudge Brownies
Ok This Recipie is one i adopted and totally revamped myself to make them even more thick and rich. And dont say i copied this cause everyone does brownies basically the same. I just couldnt help myself to change a few things, add something richer to get a deeper taste. And yes, you will need all these ingredients to make them just like this. So get to shopping you wont regret it.
Semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (about 1 cup)
Unsweetened chocolate, chopped (1/3 cup)
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into quarters
3 tablespoons cocoa powder, sifted
3 large eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 cup (5 ounces) all-purpose flour
How many times do i have to say moisture control for people to get it?
Adjust an oven rack to the lower-middle position and heat the oven to 350°F. You know how i am about this stuff.
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with two pieces of foil and spray with vegetable oil spray.
Now Melt the semi-sweet and unsweetened chocolate and butter in a large heatproof bowl set over a sauce plan of barely simmering water, stirring occasionally with a spatula (or wooden spoon) until its smooth. Remove bowl from heat and stir in the cocoa powder until smooth. Yes, take your time till its done. My kids can't seem to be patient about this. Set aside to cool.
Once mixture has cooled, stir in the eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt until combined. Add flour, stirring until just combined. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan; spread the batter into the corners and smooth the surface using your spatula. You already know all this, but i gotta say it. Bake until slightly puffed and and the toothpick thingy. You know the deal! , 35 – 40 minutes is how long it normally takes me. Cool on rack then serve...i usually wait about 5 to 10 minutes. Depends on how hungry I am. This should work. Hope you like them!
